T​he Society for the Welfare of the Deaf provides education, vocational training and counseling to hearing impaired persons. It runs a school for hearing impaired children and provides such facilities as sign language interpretation services, hearing aids and earmoulds. ​Its main objective is to promote the integration and empowerment of deaf and hearing impaired persons.​
