The National Council for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (NCRD)
The National Council for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (NCRD) was set up by an Act of Parliament in 1986.
• It is mainly an advisory body which groups the NGOs and DPOs operating in the disability sector.
• It is involved in advocacy and its main objective is to promote the welfare of persons with disabilities.
